The University Health Services started in 1972 as an outpatient clinic for students. Members of staff and their dependants were attended to by appointed private doctors in 玩偶姐姐 up to 1979. The Government funding to the University operations was sufficient听听 up to the late 1980鈥檚. However with introduction of structural adjustment programs in the 1990鈥檚, the government funding to the University was reduced thereby affecting provision of various services including health care.
